What He Did Wasn’t Occidental

Our Fearless Leader has been caught once again on film bowing to leader.  Luckily, this time, it wasn’t to a foreign leader, but to the elected Mayor of Tampa, Florida:

The Left Coast Rebel commented:

…I guess that I can breathe a sigh of relief that Obama’s bow, at least this time; was directed at a domestic dignitary and not an overseas monarch or authoritarian. But perhaps he just mistook Tampa Mayor Pam Ilorio for a despotic dictator and did that which comes perfectly naturally….

I think LCR inadvertently hit upon the answer to the mystery of why Barack Hussein Obama bows.  He was brought up for a time in the Orient and, as Wikipedia reminds us:

Bowing (also called stooping) is the act of lowering the torso and head as a social gesture in direction to another person or symbol. It is most prominent in Asian cultures but it is also typical of nobility and aristocracy in many countries and distinctively in Europe. Sometimes the gesture may be limited to lowering the head. It is especially prominent in China, Korea, India, and Japan where it may be executed standing or kneeling.

This is further evidence that this man is out of touch with the culture of America and of The West.  And what contact he has had with Western Civilization has been with the ideas and people who hate everything The West stands for [ie: communists, nihilists, socialists, fascists, etc.].  This is further proof that Barack Hussein Obama is not one of us.  He is Oriental, not Occidental.
