‘The Dimension Of Treason In Our Time’

A few weeks ago [late June 2010], I blogged about the ‘financial reform’ bill making its way through the Congress.  It was not a pleasant posting because something one of it’s sponsor said [that would be Senator Chris ‘Waitress Sandwich’ Dodd] made my head explode and Mrs. B. is getting a little tired of cleaning up the messes.

Now comes word that Representative Marxine Waters has snuck in some provisions into the bill that create Diversity Czars at each and every financial services agency in the national government.

You will not that my head has not exploded this time.  That is because I am not surprised at all by this: it is standard operating procedure for the Left.

These kind of actions, combined with the lawlessness at The Department Of Justice, combined with the betrayal of our allies and friends in the world, make one think of a single word: treason.

Other ages have had their individual traitors — men who from faint-heartedness or hope of gain sold out their causes. But in the 20th century, for the first time, man banded together by millions, in movements like Fascism and Communism, dedicated to the purpose of betraying the institutions they lived under. In the 20th century, treason became a vocation whose modern form was specifically the treason of ideas.

People like Waters, Dodd, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et. al. are traitors to the idea of America and also are just flat-out traitors.  It’s that serious of a situation.

The only way we can prevent the rotting of the soul of this nation is to expunge the Left and their ideas from any elected or appointed offices in the governments at all levels.  The fifth column must be reduced to rubble, with the pieces being discarded and buried in a deep pit, covered with offal.

The Left will fight back with everything they’ve got like the barbaric animals they are.  We have to be prepared for the fact that victories in elections may not be enough.  But, we can take comfort in the truth that right is on our side.

Our goal is the Restoration of The Founding, but we must never forget that our struggle is also an atonement for letting the vile cancer of Leftism get so far.  That is the Original Sin of America.
