The Left Bombs…Bigtime

So…at least one arrest has been made in the attempted bombing in Times Square.  Police have arrested someone named Fizzle in the Snizzle…er, Faisal Shahzad — a naturalized American citizen, it seems, originally from Pakistan.

I’ve hesitated to comment on the whole story until now because I was really interested to watch the Left comment and speculate on the situation.  As regards getting the whole situation absolutely and totally wrong, they did not disappoint.

Either they hinted that it was TEA Party influenced folks or the dreaded and most feared, dare I say it: right wing [probably Christian!] militias!!!

The worst offender may well be New York Mayor and Full-Time Beautiful Person Mike Bloomberg who told CBS:

If I had to guess 25 cents, this would be exactly that. Homegrown, or maybe a mentally deranged person, or somebody with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something. It could be anything.

Red Eye’s Andy Levy tweeted Massa Bloomsy a very spot-on query:

Please find out what Shahzad Faisal has against health care reform. Our city is counting on you!

Jimmie Bise is dead solid perfect in his assessment of Mayor Bozoberg:

…Mayor Bloomberg is that most dangerous variety of idiot — the idiot who believes himself the smartest man in the room. People like that can blunder into a lot of damage. We’re fortunate that Bloomberg’s enormous ego has limited itself to reigning as Mayor for Life of New York City. God forbid that a casual bigot who has no problem implying that most of America is incapable of harnessing their political discontent about a growing nanny state into anything but terrorism turn his attention to a position of more power and influence.

Yes, indeed, thank God for small miracles.

Gator Doug has some very good advice for New York Naggie:

Yes, Mayor Nanny Stater, try to pay attention to reality instead of trying to micro-manage everyone’s diet, you might just learn something.

I don’t know Doug: might you just be allowing your hope to triumph over your experiences?  Methinks, in line with what Jimmie wrote, that Michael Bloomingidiot is one of those fools who thinks he has reached a point where he no longer needs to learn — he has achieved near-perfection in his own little locked mind.  Typical bloody Bolshe.

Kudos to the NYPD for magnificent and quick work.  And to those citizens who rose to the occasion.

Yet only months after the Ft. Hood massacre, our government and leaders refuse to name our enemy. In fact, as a recent PJTV video reminds us, they are running the other way. Words like “jihad,” “Islamic fascism,” etc. — the very ideologies cited by the 9/11 Commission as the causes of September 11 — have now been expunged from the lexicon of our government and even our military.

Times Square reminds us how dangerously self-destructive that is. Were it not for our concerned citizenry and smart law enforcement, our civilization would be on its way out. Many of our leaders are evidently ready to hand it over.

How can we begin to defeat this enemy if we are not even willing to name it?

This denial of reality is the most disturbing aspect of the way we deal with Jihad.  If the Bush Administration was naive [and they were with their idiotic ‘religion of peace’ mantra], then the Obama Administration is in full-on delusional mode.  Mark me: At some point the Muslims will succeed in one of these attacks and many innocent Americans will die.  Their blood will be on the hands of Barack Hussein Obama, Eric ‘The Black Panther’ Holder, Janet Incompetano, Michael Bloomberg, and Chuckie ‘The Slime’ Schumer.  The sad thing is, none of them will care or wise-up.
