Clowning Around In Pennsylvania

06 July 2010 @ 10:38

Representative Paul Kanjorski on Pennsylvania [D-Fool] has landed himself in hot water by statements he has mad over the last two weeks:

The first from two weeks ago [you probably have heard or have seen this one]:

We’re giving relief to people that I deal with in my office every day now unfortunately. But because of the longevity of this recession, these are people — and they’re not minorities and they’re not defective and they’re not all the things you’d like to insinuate that these programs are about — these are average, good American people.

As Moe Lane comments:

I mean, that’s just ignorant.

I like the word ‘cretinous’ better, friend Moe.

The second, from The Times Leader, Bill O’Boyle reporting:

…On Thursday, while appearing as a guest on WILK Radio’s “Webster and Nancy Show,” Kanjorski was asked if he was going to hold any public town hall meetings with his constituents.

“We will do everything we can to meet with people, but I’m not going to set myself up for, you know, nuts to hit me with a camera.”

He said often times “people can’t resist changing what you said or taking things out of context.” He said these “snippets” lead to “distortions.”

“I’m not going to arm my opponent with a baseball bat,” Kanjorski said later in the interview.

Kanjorski knows of what he speaks.  From Mr. O’Boyle’s same report:

“Kanjorski is the one who paid a man with a camera $10,000 to follow me and my family around for five months in 2008,” Barletta said. “Kanjorski’s campaign manager (Mitchell) admitted this in a Times Leader story in November 2008.”

In a way, I find this refreshing.  Here we have one of the Useful Idiots of the Left letting his guard down and letting us know exactly how he thinks.  And what he thinks shows him to bes a bigot and an arrogant, out or touch fool.

Kanjorski is the poster boy for The Culture Of Moral Corruption in the Congress.

Matt, proprietor of Conservative Hideout, has all the details and offers some spot-on commentary and analysis of this cacophonous clown.  One comes away from reading it with an understanding of the importance of, specifically, electing his Republican opponent, Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta and, generally, making sure we throw all of these types, be they Democrat of Republican, out of office in November.
