Mother Superior Maggie, Keeper of Maggie’s Notebook, has the details over at her convent.  A highlight it:

Conscientiously Conservative came up with a great idea. Each Friday she is donating $10 to a worthy conservative candidate now up to the November election. Several bloggers have joined the effort. Note that, if $10 is too much, do less, or do more if you can. The point is to get it on our calendars and in our minds – rather than putting it off for another time.

She’s got all the details on how easy it is to participate and what to do here.  There’s even a page for it on something called ‘Facebook’ [where hip people gather together to look at books head-on, I think].

The winner of this week’s poll is Stephen Broden who is running in TX-30 to unseat Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, who you may have seen mentioned in the news lately for getting the ‘Congressional Black Caucus Scholarship Fund to make their college scholarship checks payable to her family members, not to any college’.  I’d call her ripe for the picking.

I’ve just been over to Mr. Broden’s site and have been doing a little reading and, I must say, he seems like a good man, one deserving of the most support we can give.
