Her Mother-In-Law is in Parliament as a member of the Samajwadi Party (literally, Socialist party), and it has been suggested that she may enter politics with the assumption that she would run on the same ticket. It’s probably inaccurate to try to pigeonhole Indian politics into the exact same categories as Western politics but it certainly sounds Lefty to me. On the other hand, celebs capitalizing on their fame and running for political office just because they can sounds more like Western politics as usual. I don’t think she’s going to be attending any Tea Parties any time soon. Sorry if I’ve loweredthe hotness factor a tiny bit.
