LEST WE FORGET…

PERSONAL NOTE: This is a day to celebrate and remember the noble and brave sacrifices made by our American Warriors, past and present.  The latter has taken on a special meaning for me because I just got word that Smitty is being deployed to the Afghan Theater Of Operations in a few days.  He has published his last posting [for now] over at The Other McCain and it is quite eloquent and rather moving.  Please do take the time to click her and read it, link to it if you have a site, and leave Chris a message.  If you’re the praying kind, well, that wouldn’t hurt either.  This is merely ‘farewell for now’….

    It’s official: Smitty is deploying. Last post (for now) until his return next year. Bummer.

    Hey… I volunteer YOU, Bob, to take-up the Rule 5 slack over at TOM, an interim “Gig”. Seriously. They’d probably go for it.
